Desktop Pulse does all that and even more for you. Add any number of pictures (.gif and .jpg file extensions are supported), edit them, and delete them. Pictures can be put onto your desktop or you can choose to view them in a separate window. There are three desktop modes you can choose among: center, mosaic, and full screen.
